If you need rejuvenation, inspiration, excitement, beauty, adventure or just plain fun, I can't recommend MSWIA enough. It is five stars for sure. I'm 72 years old and I felt like a teenager while on this trip. Keb Mo is such a talented musician and a beautiful soul. The friends I met were such a joy. The cost of the trip was such a deal for the music, education, culture and experience. Put it on your bucket list.
Can't say enough good things about this musical safari adventure. For musicians, it was a dream come true to get personal instruction from Keb' Mo'. For non-musicians, like me, it was wonderful to experience a safari and concert by Keb' Mo' in Pilanesberg Park and Game Reserve. The trip was expertly organized by MSWIA Music Safaris with local music, wonderful food and lodging. The South African people are warm and friendly. Our travel group was in constant awe and many new friendships forged!
Every day on the 2024 Keb' Mo Blues Safari contained dozens of "trip of a lifetime" moments. The top notch accommodations were certainly comfortable and offered amazing service. I was never disappointed by any of the food, and the hospitality was warm and genuine. And that barely scratches the surface.
The opportunity to hang with a bunch of enthusiastic and eager musicians representing the entire spectrum of talent, the chance to stretch what I know by getting exposed to so many new styles, to jam with Grammy award winning talent and novices together in a relaxed and loving environment were all great reasons to enjoy this trip. Add in the fact that the other participants, the organizers, support teams, and all others involved were such kind and loving people and the twice daily game drives in a national park and you have many of the makings of an incredible trip. Top it all off with Wiam and Renee's painstaking and relentless dedication to the success of the trip and the satisfaction of each participant and you start to see how mere words cannot describe the experience.
